North Carolina High School Basketball - Elkin overwhelmed by North Stokes

The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Elkin Buckin' Elks to 17 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Starmount for a 1A Conference 36 contest on Tuesday, December 13. North Stokes will battle a Rams team coming off a 70-47 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-1.
The Buckin' Elks (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A Conference 36 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, East Wilkes was routed by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 37-22, in a non-league contest.
