The South Hardin Tigers basketball team (Eldora, IA), was nudged 66-60 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA)

The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Grundy Center will confront a Cougars team coming off a 67-53 league loss to Union (La Porte City, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Hudson edged Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA), 65-47, in a league battle.
