Indiana High School Basketball - Wheeler trounced by Lake Station Edison

December 9, 2022: Lake Station, IN 46405

The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles routed the visiting Wheeler Bearcats basketball team by a final score of 75-31 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Fighting Eagles face the Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 13. Lake Station Edison will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 73-67 non-league win over Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN).

With the defeat, Wheeler moves to 1-4 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a Greater South Shore game on Saturday, December 17. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-1.
