Texas High School Basketball - Pace over Veterans Memorial

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) and the host Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX), saw Pace's basketball squad overcome Veterans Memorial by a tally of 45-29.

With the victory, Pace improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Los Fresnos won 62-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexander (Laredo, TX)

The Chargers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Rosa for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Veterans Memorial will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 70-52 non-league loss to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
