The Washougal Panthers basketball team (Washougal, WA), was overwhelmed 80-35 in Friday's league battle with the host R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA)

The Lumberjacks now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camas for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. R.A. Long will confront a Papermakers team coming off a 78-75 non-league win over Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Papermakers record now stands at 2-1.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA). The Eagles come into the 2A Greater St. Helens battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Hudson's Bay was overwhelmed by Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA), 57-55, in a league battle.
