The Gray's Creek Bears basketball team (Hope Mills, NC), was overwhelmed 56-18 in Friday's league battle with the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC)

The Rams now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jack Britt for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3.

The Bears (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates come into the battle with a 2-1 record.
