The Pisgah Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 26 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brevard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Pisgah will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-0.
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, North Henderson triumphed over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 42-33, in a non-league match.
