In Saturday's league outing, the Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID), by a margin of 61-37.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID). The Riverhawks go into the 4A Great Basin outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Canyon Ridge was trounced by Preston (Preston, ID), 68-46, in a non-league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Twin Falls for a 4A Great Basin outing on Tuesday, December 12. Burley will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 66-55 league win over Jerome (Jerome, ID). The Bruins record now stands at 2-4.
