The Frederick Douglass Broncos basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Scott County Cardinals to 65 in the Broncos league triumph on Saturday.
The Broncos now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Frederick Douglass will meet a Indians team coming off a 91-65 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.
The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Madison Central was nudged by Bryan Station (Lexington, KY), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
