The Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) basketball crushed the host Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY), 76-43 in Friday's league test.
The Broncos (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears go into the non-league test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, Harlan County was trounced by Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 62-60, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan Station for a District 42 test on Tuesday, February 6. Scott County will encounter a Defenders squad coming off a 69-48 league win over Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 19-2.
