Illinois High School Basketball - Hoopeston nudges Salt Fork

In Saturday's league outing, the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) basketball squad edged the host Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), by a count of 40-36.

The Cornjerkers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Westville (Westville, IL). The Tigers go into the Vermilion Valley outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Westville held off Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 68-20, in a non-league outing.
