The White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) basketball nipped the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), 55-54 in Saturday's league test.

The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Lynx go into the 2A Southern test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Lincoln County was tipped by Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV), 66-54, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Lincoln County for a 2A Southern test on Saturday, December 16.
