William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 60-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, William Monroe upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Dragons host Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to play the Trailblazers in a Valley bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Spotswood won 79-28 in their recent non-league bout against Skyline (Front Royal, VA)
Next up, the play the Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Rappahannock County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
