The Coweta Tigers (Coweta, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK), 70-16 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK). The Dutch go into the 5A District 4 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Holland Hall walloped East Central (Tulsa, OK), 55-47, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to McAlester for a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, December 12. Edison will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 65-61 league win over Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-2.
