North Carolina High School Basketball - Ayden - Grifton holds off Martin County

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Martin County Gators to 52 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Chargers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Southside for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Ayden - Grifton will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 57-35 non-league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Seahawks record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Martin County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gators host Southside (Chocowinity, NC) to confront the Seahawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. The Seahawks go into the game with a record of 0-4. Southside lost 87-42 in their recent non-league game against Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC)
