The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) and the host McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO), observed Marquette's basketball team overwhelm McCluer by a score of 74-32.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Howell Central (St. Charles, MO). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. McCluer will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
