In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Schenck Wolverines basketball team scored a big 73-29 win over the Penquis Valley Patriots.
The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars come into the D North contest with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a C North contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Penquis Valley will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Lynx come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 58-41 league win over Central (East Corinth, ME).
