Illinois High School Basketball - Cary-Grove crushes Hampshire

The Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) basketball crushed the host Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), 53-30 in Monday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jacobs for a Fox Valley bout on Friday, December 13. Cary-Grove will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 61-16 league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Hampshire falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Whip-purs host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Corsairs go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Carmel lost 61-43 in their recent league bout against Marist (Chicago, IL)
