Ohio High School Basketball - Eastern nips Lynchburg-Clay

In Monday's league contest, the host Eastern Warriors basketball team scored a close 30-29 win over the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs.

The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Union (West Union, OH). The Dragons come into the Southern Hills contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, West Union was tipped by Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH), 60-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets (Fayetteville, OH) in a Southern Hills contest, on Thursday, December 12. Lynchburg-Clay will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Rockets come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 59-20 league win over Manchester (Manchester, OH).
