The Herscher Tigers got by the visiting Wilmington Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 44-41 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 outing, on Thursday, December 12. Herscher will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Comets come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 46-39 non-league win over Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL).
