The Poston Butte Broncos basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Apache Junction Prospectors to 16 in the Broncos league victory on Tuesday.

The Broncos now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 2. Poston Butte will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 53-29 league win over Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 16-5.

The Prospectors (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ). The Colts come into the 4A Black Canyon contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Cortez was routed by Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ), 52-33, in a league contest.
