The Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) basketball crushed the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 63-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Greyhounds (5-4) will now prepare for their test against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, North Lincoln walloped St. Stephens (Hickory, NC), 45-35, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a test on Friday, February 4. West Iredell will encounter a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 48-36 league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 14-2.
