The American Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Mission San Jose Warriors to 31 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Mission Valley contest on Friday, February 3. American will battle a Huskies team coming off a 72-51 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 12-11.
The Warriors (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Irvington (Fremont, CA). The Vikings enter the Mission Valley contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Irvington triumphed over James Logan (Union City, CA), 76-73, in a league contest.
