Virginia High School Basketball - First Colonial knocked off by Bayside

The Bayside Marlins basketball team scored 66 points and held the host First Colonial Patriots to 56 in the Marlins league triumph on Wednesday.
The Marlins now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Run for a Beach contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bayside will meet a Stallions team coming off a 79-52 non-league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 7-13.
The Patriots (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins enter the Beach contest with a 1-20 record. In their last contest, Ocean Lakes was outscored by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 59-45, in a league contest.
