California High School Basketball - San Marcos knocked off by El Camino

February 1, 2023: San Marcos, CA 92069

The El Camino Wildcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host San Marcos Knights to 55 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrey Pines for a Palomar contest on Friday, February 3. El Camino will meet a Falcons team coming off a 57-49 league loss to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 16-8.

The Knights (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers enter the Palomar contest with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, Carlsbad was outscored by La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 69-65, in a league contest.
