Maine High School Basketball - Van Buren ripped by Madawaska

The Madawaska Owls basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Van Buren Crusaders to 26 in the Owls non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Owls now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Fairfield for a C North contest on Thursday, February 2. Madawaska will battle a Tigers team coming off a 76-26 non-league loss to Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
The Crusaders (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Vikings enter the D North contest with a 9-6 record.
