The Jemez Valley Warriors tipped the host Chesterton Academy Saints basketball team by a final score of 57-53 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 3. Jemez Valley will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 12-7 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

With the defeat, Chesterton Academy moves to 1-15 on the year. The Saints travel to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Silverbacks in a A District 7 game on Saturday, February 3. The Silverbacks enter the game with a record of 13-5. Legacy Academy won 52-41 in their recent league game against Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM)
