Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), 69-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fayette County upgrades its record to 11-13 on the season. The Tigers host Gordo (Gordo, AL) to clash with the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 7-10.

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Haleyville Lions (Haleyville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Cordova will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 86-56 non-league loss to Fairview (Cullman, AL).
