Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI), 45-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Imlay City upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Armada (Armada, MI) to play the Tigers in a Blue Water Area bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Armada won 61-38 in their recent league bout against Algonac (Algonac, MI)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Croswell-Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 52-50 league win over Almont (Almont, MI).
