New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos succumbs to Espanola Valley

The Espanola Valley Sundevils topped the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers basketball team by a final score of 54-45 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Sundevils face the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Espanola Valley will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 48-44 league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).

The Hilltoppers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers come into the 4A District 2 contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Taos prevailed over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 59-53, in a league contest.
