The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team (Espanola, NM), was nudged 54-53 in Saturday's league battle with the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM)
The Hilltoppers now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taos for a 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 20. Los Alamos will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-31 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 12-12.
The Sundevils (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers come into the 4A District 2 battle with a 12-12 record.
