Washington, DC High School Basketball - St. Andrew's Episcopal trounces Georgetown Day

The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball crushed the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), 59-36 in Thursday's league test.
The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their test against New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD). The go into the non-league test with a 15-17 record. In their last test, New Hope Academy was trounced by Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA), 78-70, in a league test.
The Mighty Hoppers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Maret for a DCSAA AA test on Tuesday, February 6. Georgetown Day will encounter a Frogs squad coming off a 76-67 league win over St. James (Hagerstown, MD). The Frogs record now stands at 16-6.
