With the victory, Veritas Christian Academy improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Bethel Christian Academy lost 74-26 in their recent non-league challenge against New Manna Christian (Marion, NC)

Next up, the Red Wolves confront the Christian Family Academy Fire (Hickory, NC) in a Western Piedmont challenge, on Monday, February 5. Haywood Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Fire come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 63-20 league win over The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC).
