The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats knocked off the visiting Langdon/Edmore/Munich basketball squad by a margin of 73-56 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bearcats (12-1) will now prepare for their test against St. John (St. John, ND). The Woodchucks go into the non-league test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, St. John went down by Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND), 64-54, in a league test.

The now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] for a B District 3 test on Monday, February 5. Langdon/Edmore/Munich will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 70-55 league loss to Cavalier (Cavalier, ND). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
