The Oliver Springs Bobcats basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Wartburg Central Bulldogs to 62 in the Bobcats league victory on Thursday.

The Bobcats now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockwood for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Oliver Springs will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-41 non-league win over Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 13-5.

The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils come into the 1A District 3 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Jellico prevailed over Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN), 88-71, in a league contest.
