New Jersey High School Basketball - Atlantic City trounced by Mainland Regional

February 1, 2024: Linwood, NJ 08221

The Mainland Regional Mustangs routed the visiting Atlantic City Vikings basketball team by a final score of 64-30 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 3. Mainland Regional will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 15-5 record after their 81-69 non-league win over St. Rose (Belmar, NJ).

With the defeat, Atlantic City moves to 4-14 on the year. The Vikings host Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ) to face the Dragons in a non-league game on Friday, February 2. The Dragons enter the game with a record of 9-9. Kingsway lost 38-30 in their recent league game against Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ)
