The Belleville Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Waterloo Pirates to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisconsin Heights for a Capitol - South contest on Friday, February 2. Belleville will meet a Vanguards team coming off a 77-32 league loss to New Glarus (New Glarus, WI). The Vanguards record now stands at 4-12.
The Pirates (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall (Marshall, WI). The Cardinals enter the Capitol - South contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Marshall was outscored by Cambridge (Cambridge, WI), 62-37, in a league contest.
