The Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM), 48-17 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes go into the A District 4 test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Dora walloped Floyd (Floyd, NM), 68-20, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Gateway Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Lake Arthur will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.
