Hillcrest Screamin Eagles (Strawberry, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR), 51-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Screamin Eagles travel to Viola (Viola, AR) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Viola won 57-28 in their recent non-league bout against Omaha (Omaha, AR)

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Sloan-Hendrix will attempt to upgrade on its 9-18 season record.
