In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), by a margin of 52-25.
The Wolverines (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Lake Braddock was trounced by Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 60-38, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Woodson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Fairfax will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 65-48 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-2.
