Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Greater Vision Academy Lions (Gibsonville, NC), 66-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy advances its record to 10-14 on the year. The Eagles host Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 3-11. Gray Stone Day lost 89-16 in their recent league match against North Stanly (New London, NC)
The Lions now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Wake for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Greater Vision Academy will meet a Sabres squad coming off a 67-47 league win over Southeastern HomeSchool (Wilmington, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 17-8.
