The Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) basketball crushed the host Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 73-41 in Saturday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, February 4. Bridgeport will play a Bearcats team coming off a 62-34 non-league loss to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lewis County (Weston, WV) to play the Minutemen in a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Lewis County lost 63-51 in their recent league bout against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV)
