The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls bounced the visiting Reserve Mountaineers basketball team by a margin of 84-48 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Animas (Animas, NM). The Panthers come into the A District 2 challenge with a 0-18 record. In their last challenge, Animas was trounced by Quemado (Quemado, NM), 54-38, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) in a A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Reserve will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Steers come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 49-24 league win over Quemado (Quemado, NM).
