The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) and the host Salem Lions (Salem, IN), observed Eastern's basketball team edge Salem by a margin of 46-42.

The Musketeers (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Henryville (Henryville, IN). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Henryville was tipped by Charlestown (Charlestown, IN), 65-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) in a Mid-Southern challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Salem will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 73-63 non-league loss to Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN).
