In Saturday's non-league test, the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) basketball squad knocked off the host Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA), by a score of 45-33.
Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Holston will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Cobras come into the test with a 1-11 record after their 69-31 league loss to Hurley (Hurley, VA).
