In Saturday's league contest, the host Holy Cross Catholic Academy Mustangs basketball team scored a big 73-35 win over the Holy Cross Crusaders.
The Mustangs (25-3) will now prepare for their contest against Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX). The Golden Lions come into the TAPPS 2A District 1 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Christ the King Cathedral smashed Kingdom Prep Academy (Lubbock, TX), 47-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 1 contest, on Friday, February 7. Holy Cross will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record.
