Nebraska High School Basketball - Morrill triumphant over Sioux County

February 1, 2025: Harrison, NE 69346

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) and the host Sioux County Warriors (Harrison, NE), observed Morrill's basketball team overwhelm Sioux County by a score of 58-33.

The Lions (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Gordon-Rushville trounced Leyton (Dalton, NE), 66-62, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Sioux County will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 82-15 non-league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
