Union Bobcats (Union, OR) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR), 79-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Union advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR) to face the Badgers in a 1A Old Oregon match on Wednesday, February 5. The Badgers enter the match with a record of 9-11.

The Spartans now own a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallowa for a 1A Old Oregon match on Friday, February 7.
