Washington High School Basketball - Garfield overwhelms Holy Names Academy

The Garfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Holy Names Academy to 28 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Seattle Prep for a 3A Metro game on Wednesday, February 5. Garfield will confront a Panthers team coming off a 50-46 league win over West Seattle (Seattle, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-5.
With the loss, Holy Names Academy falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The travel to Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA) to confront the Crusaders in a 3A Metro game on Wednesday, February 5. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 9-10. Eastside Catholic lost 47-44 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Seattle, WA)
