The Hoover Vikings basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Lake Blue Streaks to 35 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Carrollton for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Hoover will confront a Warriors team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Lake falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Blue streaks travel to Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Indians go into the game with a record of 17-2. Northwest won 33-28 in their recent league game against Triway (Wooster, OH)
